<\/a>Hi, I’m T. Michelle, The Travel Sista.\u00a0 I’m a black female from the USA and I love to travel.\u00a0 I\u00a0grew up in Detroit, Michigan, which shares a border with Canada.\u00a0 As a child, my family took regular road trips to Windsor, Toronto, Niagara Falls and other Canadian cities (At that time, you could easily cross the border with nothing more than a birth certificate, which wasn’t even regularly checked.\u00a0 Now, you need a passport or passport card).\u00a0 It was my first introduction to a different country, culture, and language.\u00a0 And it made me want to see more of the world.<\/p>\n Fast forward more years than I\u00a0care to admit.\u00a0\u00a0I graduated high school, went to college, and then started\u00a0my career as a lawyer.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Somehow my plans to see the world took a backseat to student loans and other adult obligations.\u00a0 Like most Americans,\u00a0my vacations took the form of weekend trips, family holiday visits, and one-week escapes.\u00a0\u00a0 I was lucky to\u00a0travel throughout the United States,\u00a0but only\u00a0minimally abroad.\u00a0 I recently vowed to change that.\u00a0 I set a life goal to visit every continent, and as many countries within each, as I possibly can.\u00a0 Thus far, I’ve traveled to Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, the Bahamas, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Brazil, and France.\u00a0 Obviously, I’ve got a lot more traveling to do.\u00a0 Come join me as I explore the world.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hi, I’m T.
